Hi crafty friends! I’ve fallen in love with the A7 Harvest Blessings Cover Plate from Scrappy Tails Crafts, and I’m sharing two ideas today.

For my first card, I started by cutting the A7 Harvest Blessings cover plate from matte black cardstock, and glued to an A7 panel.

I cut the A7 Harvest Blessings cover plate several times from different coloured card stock. I then paper pieced these in to the black cover die for a smooth look. I trimmed the panel down, and adhered to an A7 white notecard.
I finished with some smoke gems scattered here and there.

You could definitely add dimension to this, or achieve a similar result using coloured markers but I love the smooth finish.

For my second card I started by ink blending Distress Oxide inks on to an A7 panel. I then cut the A7 Harvest Blessings cover plate once from gold cardstock and twice from white cardstock. I adhered these on to the ink blended panel, trimmed down and added to an A7 kraft notecard. I finished with some gold gems scattered here and there.

Thank you so much for reading my post, let me know which is your favourite in the comments below.
